Chicago Bears: 4 Dream scenarios in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft

Christian Darrisaw falls into the Chicago Bears’ lap
Christian Darrisaw may be the best true tackle prospect in this draft class. He has everything you want in a college prospect from experience, to size, to strength. He’s the complete package. The Bears need to fix their offensive tackle issues and he is the perfect solution.
If he falls into the Bears’ lap, this would be perfect. The Bears don’t need to trade up for their guy giving up future capital. They additionally get a true starting left tackle instantly. If the Bears keep Leno as well, Darrisaw can play right tackle while he gets acclimated to the NFL before he eventually takes over for Leno.
Darrisaw is a monster in the run game, which the Bears have been lacking for years. He constantly drives defenders even when the run is away from his side. He’s great at climbing to the second level and winning blocks downfield with his athleticism and strength.
With the Bears’ struggling in their run game, a right side of the offensive line of two maulers in James Daniels and Darrisaw would actually murder NFL defenses. Even if he was moved to the left side, he and Whitehair would be a great combination.
