1. Nickell Robey Coleman

In 2019, Robey-Coleman was one of the best slot cornerbacks in the NFL. It looked like a steal when the Philadelphia Eagles snagged. Like everything in 2020, it went bad for Philadelphia. Now, Robey-Coleman is looking for someone to bet on the bounceback. That could be Chicago.

NRC signed for only $1.3 million last year, and considering his season may sign for the same or less this year. He is getting older but is still just 29 years old. This could be a great time to buy low on a cornerback who could get right back to his heights. He went from playing with a shuffle of corners and could move into a role with Kyle Fuller and Jaylon Johnson.

Next. Sign or Pass: Cam Sutton. dark

At the very least, in signing NRC they would still save money from Skrine, but not be solely reliant on starting Duke Shelley. If NRC flames out, they turn to their young corner and did not lose a big asset. If they are going to spend a little more, they may be looking at Hilton or Poole. However, the perfect blend of veteran, upside, and cost efficiency is NRC.
