4. Willie Snead, WR

Perhaps there is a bit too much dot-connecting here, but it is worth noting that Ryan Pace was with the New Orleans Saints when Willie Snead signed as a UDFA out of college. No one is saying Pace was responsible for picking him out, but he still has success with UDFAs to this day.

Perhaps Pace has a fondness for Snead, and Snead remembers someone who believed in him. Beyond that, this is a pretty good fit. Snead lives mainly out of the slot. The Chicago Bears have Anthony Miller, but he has lived in the dog house and has one year left on his deal.

It is not a guarantee that Miller even comes back, but even if he does, adding Snead as a depth receiver behind him could turn up the heat. It could also be a long-term veteran who shows up every day and has crisp routes and precise timing. It could be something that Miller needs to see.

Still, even while Anthony Miller has more upside, if Snead is more trusted, he could just step in for Miller next season. Snead is going to break the bank but is a low-risk signing with the potential to find a starting slot wide receiver.
