Russell Wilson will not be traded if Seattle loads up on offensive talent

Not only if the Seahawks sign some offensive line talent would that be an indicator that Russell Wilson is staying, but if they look to add some big-name offensive talent I do not believe Wilson will be going anywhere either. The team has some talent on offense already, but seeing some big splashes early on in free agency would indicate a Super Bowl push, not a rebuild.

The team is about to lose their best running in Chris Carson to free agency. Carson was a seventh-round pick who has made everything out of his opportunity since entering the NFL. He has been the team’s workhorse for the last two seasons, but health has always been an issue of his.

As Carson is set to hit free agency, if the Seahawks look to sign the likes of Kenyan Drake, Todd Gurley or Leonard Fournette this week, it will be doubtful that Russell Wilson is leaving. The same could be said if the team lands a top tight end. What if they traded for Zach Ertz? Russell Wilson would have to be in Seattle’s plans, right? Signing Kyle Rudolph, Jared Cook or Hunter Henry would also be indications that Wilson is staying put in my opinion.
