Eric Stokes brings speed and explosiveness as a Day 2 pick for the Chicago Bears

Eric Stokes ran an unofficial 4.25-second 40-yard dash at Georgia’s Pro Day. He’s regarded as the faster cornerback in this class, yet his draft projections have him falling to the second round.

He’s a taller prospect that has some serious quickness. His technique needs some work, but with some experience on this Bears’ defense, Stokes could be molded into a solid contributor for the Bears.

Stokes had a breakout season in 2020. He came away with four intercceptions for the Georgia Bulldogs while also returning two of those for touchdowns. He was second in the SEC in interceptions (4) and seventh overall in all of NCAAF. He was also second in the SEC and NCAAF in interceptions returned for touchdowns (2).

We all know that Ryan Pace loves his Georgia draft prospects. Could he look to add yet another should he fall to the 52nd overall pick? Stokes could be a very underrated draft pick should the Chicago Bears look to replace Kyle Fuller in the 2021 NFL Draft.
