The Chicago Bears offense compared to the Cowboys

Andy Dalton had plenty of weapons in Dallas last year. These weapons included Amari Cooper, Ezekiel Elliott, CeeDee Lamb, Michael Gallup, Tony Pollard, and Dalton Schultz. The Cowboys have a top offense with Dak Prescott but struggled tremendously with Andy Dalton.

The Bears on the other hand were ranked in the bottom ten for scoring (23.3 PPG). They had two QB’s who both struggled to point up points.

Now let’s look at the Bear’s offensive weapons. Chicago has a #1 receiver in Allen Robinson but refuses to pay Robinson the contract he wants. After A-Rob, the Bears have Tarik Cohen, Jimmy Graham, David Montgomery, and Darnell Mooney. Anthony Miller is still currently on the roster but is most likely going to be traded or cut.

Who would look at those two offensive units and think the Bear’s talent is close to the Cowboys? Absolutely no one. The Cowboy’s offense is not only better than the Bears, but it’s also much more talented.

Now let’s look at Dalton’s stats with that 2020 Cowboys offense. In 10 games, Andy Dalton threw for 2169 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions. If Andy Dalton couldn’t do anything with the Cowboys offense, what makes Ryan Pace think he will do something with ours?
