4. Shawn Williams

Shawn Williams has been with the Cincinnati Bengals since 2013. However, with the new regime change, the team signed Von Bell to pair with Jessie Bates. Williams went from a full-time starter from 2016-2019 to being phased out due to the changes to the roster and the idea the Bengals knew he would not be here long.

Williams is going to be 30 next season, but he may still have some juice. Like Vaccaro, you are getting a box safety who lays a big-time hit but still has great tackling ability. The Bengals opted for a better coverage safety, but as we have noted, the Chicago Bears are always getting cheap with their compliment to Jackson and know that he can make up for the coverage.

Players have come to Chicago for cheap to revive their careers, and Williams is a player who could play for the veteran minimum and provide quality safety play for a year to help revive his career.
