The Chicago Bears would be lucky to land Christian Darrisaw in this draft

Let me point out that these prospects are not in order for me as far as I have them ranked. They are listed in somewhat random order. That said, it should be known that Christian Darrisaw might be my favorite option for the Chicago Bears to trade up for in the draft outside of quarterbacks.

Like Rashawn Slater, Darrisaw is projected as a plug-and-play player. Darrisaw has the size, power and mobility that any team would be excited to see at the left tackle position. He could probably add some more strength to his frame too once he reaches the NFL level. Thatā€™s insane.

Darrisaw has good length too that allows him to do well in pass-blocking situations. He does a good job creating balance with his wide base. You can see him here in some passing drills at the Virginia Tech pro day. I would like to see him stay a little lower at the end to help with his balance, but he shows some good bend and never truly loses his footing.

Darrisaw is the second tackle on my 2021 draft prospect list. If he starts to fall, the Chicago Bears would be fools not to move up for him. He, Rashawn Slater and Penei Sewell look to be the three tackles in my top tier at their position and all three project as sure-fire, canā€™t-miss prospects.
