Now that free agency has settled down, it’s time to turn our attention to the upcoming NFL Draft.
So just how has free agency altered the Chicago Bears draft plans?
In this episode of The Chicago Audible, Will DeWitt and Nicholas Moreano unveil their first initial mock draft(s) of the year as they attempt to create the best draft class possible with the Bears’ current slate of picks. For these mocks, the guys used different draft simulators and both agreed that there were no trades allowed. Take a listen to find out who each of the guys has headed to Chicago!
Even though Ryan Pace loves to move around during the draft, the guys believe having a “no-trade clause” for their first mock drafts is a great opportunity to highlight the talent they can bring in if they stayed put with their current crop of draft picks. Don’t worry as there will be trades in a future mock draft episode later this month.
With the NFL Draft less than one month away, there are still so many lingering questions surrounding the Chicago Bears yet to be answered like:
Is it possible for the Chicago Bears to find a quality quarterback in this year’s draft?
Will the team look to add more talent to the offensive line, and if so, what positions would they draft?
Can the team find some young talent that could bolster its wide receiver unit?
Who is going to start at nickel and safety opposite of Eddie Jackson?
The guys attempt to figure out possible solutions (in different ways) as they went through their mock drafts. Are you ready for a little fun and speculation? And are you ready to learn more about some prospects that you may not know all too much about yet?
As always, the guys at The Chicago Audible, have you covered.
