Chicago Bears Rumors: Top-5 destinations for an Anthony Miller trade
Chicago Bears trade rumors: Anthony Miller could play with Wilson afterall
The Chicago Bears have been linked with the Seattle Seahawks all offseason. Why not add another rumor to the mill? The Seahawks have two very good wide receivers already in Tyler Locket and D.K. Metcalf. Similar to the Chargers, the team could use a strong third option though.
Behind these two, the wide receiver room gets really ugly really fast. If you believe in any of these names, then ignore the idea of Anthony Miller moving west:
- Penny Hart
- Freddie Swain
- Darvin Kidsy
- John Ursua
- Aaron Fuller
- Cody Thompson
These are the receiver currently set to fill out the Seahawks wide receiver room in 2021 without any other corresponding moves this offseason. Miller would instantly be the third-best option on the roster.
The Seahawks do not have a first-round pick this year. In fact, the team only has three draft picks in 2021. In this trade, it might make more sense for the Seahawks to try and send a 2022 pick as opposed to a 2021 draft pick. Right now, the Seahawks only have second-round, fourth-round and seventh-round picks. Maybe the team decides Anthony Miller would be better than any option they could land in the fourth round though and send that over to Chicago instead.
What a slap in the face that would be, right? Russell Wilson rumors to the Chicago Bears took place for over a month, and instead, the Bears send Anthony Miller to play with Wilson instead. I cannot wait to see the social media responses after that one.
