Dillon Radunz, North Dakota State

Dillon Radunz is another great athlete who is being pushed up due to his movement skills. Like Smith, he is a bit light, but unlike Smith, his agility is elite. Radunz is anticipated to go in the first two rounds, and the Bears would have to take him 52nd. At that slot, they should pass.

Radunz checks more boxes than most. He is clearly athletic, he is 23, but will not be 24 until after next season, and he has over 30 starts at left tackle. Of course, the first knock will be at NDSU and playing small school opponents.

The second branches off of that. For playing lower levels, his core strength and anchor were tested far too often. His athleticism and foot quickness is undeniable. When you play those small schools, those traits need to jump out, and they do.

At the same time, he gets shoved to the ground too often, and a bigger lineman can drive into him. That is far too big of an issue to expect a seamless transition to the NFL. In the third round later, it could be okay, but right now he is expected to get drafted too high.
