Chicago Bears: Round 4, Pick No. 131 (via BAL)

Ryan Pace is known for hitting on his fourth-round picks, and Rodarius Williams could be the next diamond in the rough. The older brother of Greedy Williams, Rodarius has a similar style of play — aggressive, good pass technique, and solid off-ball.

Williams would immediately compete for the starting job alongside Jaylon Johnson. His smooth footwork and ability to crash down on the ball will allow him to fit well into the Chicago Bears’ pass coverage. He should find himself pushing guys like Artie Burns and Victor Kildor early, with the likelihood of becoming the next option behind Desmond Trufant. With Trufant’s injury history, it should not take long before Williams becomes the second corner.

He may not be the next Kyle Fuller, but he comes into a strong defense that will allow him to float in coverage and make plays early and often. With a strong front seven, this should allow Williams the freedom he needs to become a ballhawk despite only having two interceptions in college.
