The Chicago Bears have many holes to fill this offseason. One way to help things will be to find some serious talent in the 2021 NFL Draft. This will not be as easy as it sounds, however, we at Bear Goggles On (BGO) have decided to help Ryan Pace by putting together a top-five ranking at each position. These are not one individual’s rankings. No, instead, these are consensus ranking based on eight writer’s rankings.

By looking at the rankings of each writer and developing consensus top-five rankings, it helps ensure that the best of the best are included. In this article, we will look at only the offensive side of the ball. However, shortly after we will look at the defensive side of the ball.

Just because a player is in the top five of our rankings does not mean that that player is worth taking in the first round. In fact, it does not mean the team should look to take one of the top-five players in even the second round — at least for one position.

Even worse though, some of these names are likely to be unreachable. Trevor Lawrence for example is not someone the Chicago Bears will have an opportunity to draft. The Jaguars are all but locked in on him with the addition of Urban Meyer as the head coach. In fact, it sounds like drafting any of the top-five quarterbacks this season could be extremely difficult. A massive trade up from 20th-overall is the only chance that anything happens.
