Who else will trade up?

As noted, picks 4-10 could all go quarterback, but aside from Denver all of these teams committed to some sort of signal-caller this offseason. If two QBs go from pick 4-10, it will likely be because a team traded back from those spots.

We know that Chicago is willing and ready to trade up. Who else? When you break down who is desperate for a QB, the list gets smaller. Washington has an elite defense but has Ryan Fitzpatrick, a QB with a limited ceiling. Still, they also have Kyle Allen, who Ron Rivera has gone to bat for, and Taylor Heinecke, who has playoff stats better than Mitch Trubisky. They are desperate for a QB, but if the right QB does not fall, they may stand pat.

New England has Cam Newton, and Bill Belichick is looking at Tom Brady thinking he needs to strike. Their aggression this offseason puts them in the discussion. We do not know how Denver feels about their QB, but Washington, New England, and Denver are the only true competitors for Chicago for the two QBs who fall. The Bears are not competing with the rest of the league, but rather two or three teams to get up and get a quarterback. With Ryan Pace manning the charge, these teams can be beaten in an arms race of assets.
