Chicago Bears: Round 1, Pick No. 6 (via MIA)
Similar to when the 49ers moved up to the 3rd overall pick, it’s likely going to cost the Bears a similar price to move up 14 spots. I made the additional 2022 pick a second-round pick and threw in one of the Bear’s sixth-round selections that is not featured above (no. 204).
It’s quite the hall for Miami, while the Bears get a real chance at their franchise quarterback. Fields is a true dual-threat quarterback who can immediately start should Andy Dalton struggle early.
Fields is a tough player. Many reflect on the hit he took this year during the semi-final game vs Clemson, as he returned to the field to torch the Tigers. He’s got good vision, solid footwork, and can read windows well for deeper passes and splicing up zones. He runs hard as well and is always willing to go the extra mile for a first down or key conversion. He would have the potential to be one of the greatest Bears’ quarterbacks in history and reopen a once foreseeable Super Bowl window.
