Dillon Radunz, LT, North Dakota State

One thing we learned diving into Ryan Pace and his history with small school players is that he likes to wait until day three for most of them. Of course, there is an exception, but there is a chance that most of these players fall into that range as well.

Spencer Brown may have to be drafted in round three based on athleticism. Dillon Radunz is also a lock to be drafted in the third round at the latest. There is even a chance that if the Bears do not take him at pick 52, they will not see him again.

That is a commitment for a player who did not play this season due to the season being halted. Radunz had questions to answer in 2020, and while he got to answer a lot at the Senior Bowl and his pro day, there are still questions.

Still, we are talking about a serious athlete at left tackle.

If you are going to bet on the small school, it is someone who can move like that. Radunz also looked fluid moving into the second level as a zone blocker, which Chicago does often. Matt Nagy was in North Dakota for the pro day of Trey Lance but obviously got to see Radunz workout as well.

The Bears would not need him to start right away, but he could push Charles Leno as soon as he adjusts to the NFL. Could the Chicago Bears add their future left tackle from the North Dakota State Bison?
