The Chicago Bears have dangled Anthony Miller out in trade talks throughout the offseason. They will eventually settle on a lower cost than they have in mind right now, and they likely are waiting until the 2021 NFL draft to figure out what to do with him. If the board breaks the way the Chicago Bears want, they could find themselves with an upgrade in the slot from Miller.

Who are five players in the 2021 NFL draft who could provide an upgrade from Anthony Miller?

5. Amari Rodgers, Clemson

Rodgers is a player we have previously discussed and would make a lot of sense in a Matt Nagy offense. Rodgers is short and stout and gives off vibes of a mini Deebo Samuel. He even worked out as a running back because know that they need to get the ball in his hands and let him work.

It is also is because he is undersized and does not project as a big-time athlete who can win with his body down the field.

To be fair to Amari Rodgers, his catch radius is very strong. He finds a way to get under the ball and get his hands on it somehow. Beyond that, it is the quick lateral cuts and compact explosion that Rodgers brings to the table rather than a burner mentality.

With versatility in the backfield and is a player who gets the ball in his hands quickly and turns upfield, he profiles as a Matt Nagy type of player. He can handle the screen game well and has the floor to jump right in as a scheme fit over Anthony Miller. His ceiling is not sky high, but he could find his way in this offense.
