The Cleveland Browns are a suitor the Chicago Bears need to flatter

The Browns make this list as a top trade partner. Besides being out of the NFC, Cleveland currently holds two fourth-round picks at No. 110 and 132 overall.

For the Browns, they are in serious contention to make the playoffs again and could even potentially win their division. They will likely be looking to move up in the first round. Should the Bears end up sticking with the 20th overall pick, they could be a good trade partner. A move in the second or third round could also occur should the Browns feel there is better value at No. 52 or 83.

Here are a few trade scenarios the Bears and the Browns could offer to one another:

The Chicago Bears move back in the first round and then swap a fifth-rounder for a chance at drafting in the fourth round. To sweeten the pot, the team also gets a seventh-round pick to get ahead on some undrafted free agents.

The Chicago Bears do not gain an extra pick in this scenario, but by moving back in the second round a few picks, the team is able to gain a fourth-rounder. Ryan Pace sends a sixth-rounder in return.

The Chicago Bears are able to gain two fourth-round picks in this scenario. The team loses a third-round pick in the process though. Losing out on a top-100 prospect could bite the Chicago Bears in the butt, however, moving up 30 spots later in the draft could prove to be very useful.

In short, the Browns are likely a buyer in this year’s draft, and the Bears could find some real value if they’re willing to do some selling.
