4. Rashad Bateman, WR, Minnesota

The Chicago Bears could very well go with a wide receiver in the first round of the 2021 NFL draft. They have been looking to ship out Anthony Miller and can only hold Allen Robinson for so much longer. Bateman is the best of both worlds.

As a long-term prospect, Rashad Bateman’s upside can be that of Robinson. He can win on the outside with refined routes and body control. He also can win to all layers of the field. In the short term, he can compliment Robinson in the slot. With his quick breaks and detailed route running, he would be great for timing routes over the middle.

All of the plays that Anthony Miller was a step away from could see Bateman catching and turning upfield. His versatility, production, athleticism, and skill set on video give him the combination of high-floor and high ceiling. That is rare and worthy of a top 20 pick. Chicago Bears fans could not complain with Bateman.
