2. Samuel Cosmi, Texas

Of all of the tackles in this group, Samuel Cosmi may be the most surprising to still see around.  You just do not see the athleticism that Cosmi has for that size. This guy can move. For a zone-heavy offense like the Chicago Bears run, Samuel Cosmi is a perfect fit.

There are questions with him that drove him out of round one, notably the consistency. On plays where his footwork is perfect, you see a pick that could have been made at 20. However, those plays are not consistent enough for him to be drafted at 20.

His feet can be a mess and he can get himself tangled and twisted at times. The misses are just as severe as the best plays of Cosmi, and his tape clearly has teams a bit worried.

However, the farthest he should drop is to the pick 52 range. This is a player with serious upside at left tackle. The Bears can give him time to work on his footwork behind Charles Leno, but once he is ready the job is his. Bears should hope for a Cosmi fall.
