3 positions Chicago Bears must address with 4 day 3 picks
The Chicago Bears were really struggling on their offensive line and at quarterback. Fortunately, for them, they found a way to come away with a top-tier quarterback and right tackle by most accounts. Still, the team has four picks on day three with room to improve other needs.
The Chicago Bears can go in plenty of directions now but should focus these picks on the following three positions.
3. Wide Receiver
By all accounts, nothing that happened this weekend has changed the Bears’ tone on Anthony Miller. A young quarterback does not need a player demanding for the ball and the Bears have to still be frustrated about the playoffs. Allen Robinson is still not signed, so they could go a lot of ways, whether it be the slot or outside.
2. Cornerback
The Chicago Bears cannot trust Desmond Trufant to give them 17 full games. They also cannot trust Kindle Vildor or Duke Shelley that much where they stand. Lastly, while Jaylon Johnson is great, his shoulder cannot be overlooked. This is another position that they could be looking to address both inside and outside.
1. Offensive Line
Yes, they just added Teven Jenkins. Yes, they need to go right back in and grab some more offensive lineman. What is great about this draft is the depth of the line. The Bears need to grab as many as possible.
As the roster currently stands, Sam Mustipher is set to start, and while James Daniels is coming back, that is from an injury so nothing is guaranteed. The team could use the interior, and even after Jenkins could go with tackles, especially on the left side considering Jenkins has typically played on the right.
