While many Chicago Bears fans are quick to point the finger at Mitch Trubisky, it’s fair to say that the scrutiny that he received wasn’t always completely deserved.

Did Trubisky struggle at times while a Chicago Bears quarterback? Yes, he did. But, I think he would be one of the first to admit when he was struggling, and it’s hard to say that Trubisky didn’t do everything he could to be the quarterback Pace had hoped he’d be.

No…’thank you’ for you, Mitch Trubisky — from many Chicago Bears fans

While the famous ‘thank you’ tweet by teams when a player gets released, traded, etc., is not actually that big of a deal, it does look like Mitch Trubisky could be getting the undeserved silent treatment from the Chicago Bears‘ Twitter social media account since he signed with the Buffalo Bills.

On May 3, 2021, the day Charles Leno, Jr.’s release had been made official, the Chicago Bears Twitter social media page gave Leno his due respect.

Charles Leno, Jr., while he had his ups and downs as a Chicago Bear, was, in terms of draft assets, less of an investment to the Bears as Trubisky was. So, for them to just cut ties and wipe their hands free just doesn’t sit well with many Chicago Bears fans. Whenever a post like the one of Leno Jr. is posted, immediately the comments requesting the Trubisky thank you climb to the top of comment boards.

There was even a video made by DaWindyCity Productions to give Trubisky his ‘thank you’, while the Chicago Bears Twitter social media account seems to have let that ship sail.

Is Mitch Trubisky losing sleep over the fact that he didn’t get a ‘thank you’ post from @ChicagoBears? I’d doubt it. He seems to be moving on from the Chicago Bears, as he should. While his journey in Chicago had many ups and downs, there was something always consistent with Mitch Trubisky — he cared.

Next. It would be bittersweet if Aaron Rodgers is traded. dark

Now, I know caring doesn’t put losses in the win column and that there were fair criticisms of Mitch Trubisky as the No. 2 overall pick, but when rooting for the person under the jersey, it’s hard to knock his ability to care even when the entire city of Chicago doesn’t seem to be giving the love back. So, we at BearGogglesOn will do what the Chicago Bears social media team chose not to do — thank you for your time and the work you put in Mitch Trubisky
