Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
What could possibly be more interesting than the Bears playing the reigning champs? Tom Brady and his incredible team of misfits/All-Stars (I see you, Antonio Brown and Leonard Fournette). Can Brady remember if it’s 3rd or 4th down and beat the team that embarrassed him on Prime Time during the most triumphant season of his life?
The Buccaneers have somehow retained almost every member of their championship team, and they will remain at the top of the NFL for some time to come. They are deadly and ready to strike at any moment, but it is always the underestimated teams that surprise even the most skilled of squadrons. This, of course, was the result of the last game between these teams.
As aforementioned, the win/loss outcome of this game does not matter as much as the outcome of the game itself. Can Dalton/Fields perform well against a championship team? More importantly, can Mack actually get a sack when we need him to?
Again, win or loss, the matchup will be of immense interest to most Bears fans. Seeing Tom Brady square off against the Monsters of the Midway in another possible Prime Time matchup would be a game for the ages, particularly if Fields starts and plays at the top of his game.
