The Chicago Bears just released their schedule for the upcoming season. It has been ranked as one of the tougher schedules among teams and they will be facing some top-notch competition. Although it is still early, we do have a good idea of what the roster is going to look like come Week 1, so I am going to predict the Bears’ record by going through each game.

In this prediction, I have Justin Fields as the starting quarterback beginning Week 4 against the Lions. I think that after the first three games this would be a good time to play him since it is against a weaker team and he can ease into the role.

Chicago Bears Week 1 at Los Angeles Rams, September 12, 7:20 PM

The Chicago Bears open their season in a Sunday night showdown at Sofi Stadium against the new-look Rams. The Bears have faced the Rams the last three years, losing two out of three. This will be Andy Dalton’s first game as a Bear, along with many other players. Taking on the Rams will not be an easy task, especially now that they have Matthew Stafford.

The last three times these teams met the games have been ground out for both teams. Unfortunately, the Rams are still the better team right now — even with their losses on defense. Their offense is high-powered now with a new quarterback, and they still have Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey, who have caused the Bears fits in the last few years.

Prediction: Loss (0-1)
