Brian Poole

The biggest question with Brian Poole is going to come down to his medical charts. Poole is a clear upgrade over Buster Skrine in almost all areas of the spot, and would likely not be on the market if he did not have concerns. However, Atlanta let him walk after he held down the slot there, and after a few seasons with injuries, 2020 being the worst with seven missed games, Brian Poole was not extended.

Poole is likely in the spot of Robey-Coleman where he believes he can get slot starter money and will start in the slot, but teams are worried about the risk and would rather have him sign a lower end deal with less promises.

It will be interesting to see if the Chicago Bears go right back to signing the New York Jets old slot corner, but this time should go better than Skrine, at least on the field.
