Darqueze Dennard

This one is almost surprising that the Chicago Bears have not signed Darqueze Dennard. For those that do not remember, Dennard had the game of his season, and one of the best of his career against Allen Robinson when the Chicago Bears pulled Mitch Trubisky and came back with Nick Foles.

Still, it was a red zone interception that he plucked from Robinson that looked like it sealed the deal. Robinson would likely rather sharpen his iron against Dennard than face a corner he struggled against.

The issue with Dennard has been consistency and health. He was a first round pick and has the traits to play to it. However, you do not get it for 16 games. Dennard was put on IR after just seven games with a hamstring injury. He should be fully healed now, but the combination of factors has left him out as a free agent post-draft. Still, if someone made sense in Chicago, it would be Dennard.
