For any Chicago Bears fan that does not follow Teven Jenkins on Twitter, his handle is @TevenJenkins. It is clear to see that there is a relationship already building between Chicago Bears fans and himself.

Could Teven Jenkins become the new Kyle Long of the offensive line on Twitter? Long was always a great follow and interacted often with Chicago Bears fans. Jenkins looks to be taking that torch. We can also chalk him up with other great social media follows like Tarik Cohen and Akiem Hicks.

I wonder if that is due to him being focused on learning the playbook during rookie minicamp or if coaches told him to be less vocal about things. Quite honestly, Chicago Bears fans could care less what a player looks like, as long as he performs. This is what is important to Bears fans because all we care about is winning — despite them hardly doing so over the last few decades.

It appears that Jenkins should fit in nicely in Chicago even though he has never seen a skyscraper in person. Yep, that’s correct, Teven Jenkins asked if we had “those” here in Chicago. Will he play left tackle this season? Will he be the Week 1 starter? Only time will tell, but for now, make sure you are following him to keep up with the fun.
