For any Chicago Bears fan that does not follow Teven Jenkins on Twitter, his handle is @TevenJenkins. It is clear to see that there is a relationship already building between Chicago Bears fans and himself.

Could Teven Jenkins become the new Kyle Long of the offensive line on Twitter? Long was always a great follow and interacted often with Chicago Bears fans. Jenkins looks to be taking that torch. We can also chalk him up with other great social media follows like Tarik Cohen and Akiem Hicks.

Chicago Bears fans instantly welcomed Teven Jenkins with open arms…and jokes

And this was all Chicago Bears fans needed to start the relationship that Jenkins might not have expected. It has kept going from here, although it seems to have slowed down. I wonder if that is due to him being focused on learning the playbook during rookie minicamp or if coaches told him to be less vocal about things. His last tweet or reply was on May 14th — seven days ago.

Here are a few of the great interactions we have seen from Teven Jenkins.

Jenkins seems to not be to keen on how he looks in many of his photos — especially ones that include his glasses. Me, I love the way Teven Jenkins looks in his glasses — or should we say the way he looks in those Bear Goggles.

In his press conference, the Twitter relationship got brought up, and luckily, Jenkins was able to laugh about it.

"“I’m having a lot of good times with Bears fans, especially on Twitter.”"

The fun continues at Teven Jenkins expense…

Or what about this one?

Quite honestly, Chicago Bears fans could care less what a player looks like, as long as he performs. This is what is important to Bears fans because all we care about is winning — despite them hardly doing so over the last few decades.

Next. Bears should sign this remaining free agent. dark

It appears that Jenkins should fit in nicely in Chicago even though he has never seen a skyscraper in person. Yep, that’s correct, Teven Jenkins asked if we had “those” here in Chicago. Will he play left tackle this season? Will he be the Week 1 starter? Only time will tell, but for now, make sure you are following him to keep up with the fun.
