4. Darnell Mooney

This should be obvious because the quarterback play will make Mooney better. However, some may not realize just how much of an impact this could be on Mooney. Time after time you saw Mooney sprinting deep down the field only to see the pass sail over his head or miss him even though he was wide open.

That did happen to him as much, if not more than any wide receiver. Last year he ranked 30th in air yards, but 51st in receiving yards.

When looking at RACR which divides receiving yards over how many air yards you had, Mooney ranks sixth lowest in the NFL. The receivers lower are DJ Chark, Jerry Jeudy, Darius Slayon, Chase Claypool, and Marquise Brown. Along with Mooney, these receivers lead the league in getting wide open deep, and having their QB miss them on a target.

That makes sense when you look at the quarterbacks for all of these players. In the case of Mooney, his QB play could improve, especially when it comes to deep passing. All of the sudden if Mooney is catching the yards that are being thrown his way, he is much closer to 1,000 yards than some fans realize.
