1. Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson will finish with double-digit touchdowns

It has been five seasons since Allen Robinson last caught double-digit touchdowns. Oddly enough, 2015 was his only such season. He caught 14 touchdowns that year from Blake Bortles, of all quarterbacks.

Now entering his eighth year in the league, Robinson looks to get back over that mark. Only this season, he could have the best quarterback he’s ever caught passes from in Justin Fields. It all depends upon when Fields actually takes over the starting job, but the closer the season gets, the more hype that’s sure to surround that situation.

Last year, Robinson caught 102 passes for 1,250 yards and six touchdowns. Those numbers were put up while catching passes from two quarterbacks, both Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles. Over the years, Robinson has also caught passes from Bortles and even Christian Hackenberg, going back to his college days.

Robinson is one of the best route runners in the league and knows how to separate. Because of that, Fields will likely look to him as the top security blanket. Rookie quarterbacks need that one guy they can look to no matter what, and Robinson is without a doubt that type of player. If he hits his ceiling this season, Robinson’s year is going to be special.

When the 2021 season wraps up, Robinson will have caught over 90 passes for 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns, doubling last year’s score total.
