5. Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields will compile 36 total touchdowns

All of the talk is about when Fields will take over for Andy Dalton, and you can mark my words: it will come no later than Week 3, if not during training camp. Fields is going to be the starter sooner rather than later. You can feel it. With every word he speaks and every time we see him practicing over the summer, you’ll continue to feel it.

Fields will take over the starting job and run with it. He has all of the weapons he needs to have a stellar rookie season, and could even end up winning the NFL’s Offensive Rookie of the Year award.

The Bears have never had a 4,000-yard passer, nor a quarterback to throw for 30 touchdowns. In 2021, they will have both with Fields. As a rookie, I predict Fields will throw for over 4,000 yards and 31 touchdowns. He is going to add another 500 yards on the ground to go with five rushing touchdowns.

The era of poor quarterback play in Chicago is over. Fields is going to put the NFL on notice, and he absolutely has the skill set and mental capacity to do so as a rookie. The Bears have never seen a young quarterback like this in Chicago. Fields is different, and he’s going to prove it.
