If you know anything about the Chicago Bears it is that between the quarterbacks and the wide receivers, they do not have the longest, richest history. So it really is no surprise that after only three seasons with the team we are able to start to think about where Allen Robinson ranks amongst all-time Chicago Bears wide receivers.

Last year we noted that Robinson ranked 22nd overall after just two seasons. Now, with 255 receptions for 3,151 yards, Robinson is now currently in the top 15 all-time in receiving yards, and that includes a couple of running backs and tight ends.

If you take away Mike Ditka, Matt Forte, and Walter Payton, you are looking at him being 12th all time amongst Bears receivers. With that, we have four players going all the way back to 1960s!

The reality is that the Chicago Bears recent history is Alshon Jeffrey, Curtis Conway, Marty Booker, Brandon Marshall, Willie Gault and then Allen Robinson.

Of course, Robinson will be able to add onto that, and as you can see, it may not take much for him to get too far up that list. Below is an image of what would happen if he had an average season based on his past three years. The lows of his 2018 where he was not quite back and in-sync with the offense are added, and even then we still see him all the way into the top seven all-time.

If Robinson posts a conservative 85 receptions for 1,059 yards and six touchdowns, only Forte, Payton, and Johnny Morris would have more receptions in franchise history. Of WRs, he would become the all-time leader in receptions with 91.However, it would take over 1,200 yards for him to pass Curtis Conway for sixth all-time in receiving yards.

Still, we are looking at a player who is going to be with the Chicago Bears for four seasons and has a legitimate chance to be the all-time leader in catches by a WR, top seven in receiving yards, and in conversations with Ditka, Payton, Forte, and other greats. It would be cool to him see him find a way to stick around beyond 2021 and move into the clear cut talk of the best WR in franchise history.
