The Chicago Bears are reportedly interested in Morgan Moses. The team is scheduled to meet with Moses which means that the interest is very real. They have likely talked money and now want to get the physicals and face to face meets out of the way before signing him. So, if things go well the Chicago Bears could have a new right tackle.

While many will wonder how this may shake up the offensive line, it should be pretty clear that Moses will be slotted into right tackle. He has played the left side, but has spent almost every snap since 2014 at right tackle. In that time, he has hardly missed any snaps due to injury as well.

This would be a perfect fit in Chicago. When we broke down the potential offensive line combinations, there was plenty of shuffling going on at right tackle. Germain Ifedi was the leader in the club house, but Larry Borom and Elijah Wilkerson each could be competing for that spot.

With Moses, there really is no competition. Moses is a sure fire, legitimate starter at right tackle. He may be aging, but the talent is there. For Ifedi, the Bears signed him to play guard last year because his tackle tape was so poor. Borom is a round five rookie, and Wilkerson is looked at as a swing option.

With that in mind, all of the sudden the Bears offensive line could round into shape with the addition of Moses.

At right tackle Moses would land and on the other end Teven Jenkins would slot in at left tackle. Between James Daniels and Cody Whitehair they have two interior lineman and either would call on Alex Bars or Sam Mustipher to fill the fifth offensive line spot.

Months ago all five spots were up for grabs, but with two new tackles, and a healthy Daniels the line would start to fill out and look pretty good. Here is to hoping that all of the medical tests g well and Moses ends up in Chicago.
