Kmet didn’t see the field consistently as they had veteran Jimmy Graham. Even though they have Graham this season too, Kmet may see his snaps continue to rise.

Kmet displayed underrated athleticism while at Notre Dame playing both baseball and football and playing well at Notre Dame as a tight end. He showed reliable hands and a fight to always get extra yards while additionally constantly showing his blocking ability as well. This led to the Bears selecting him 43rd overall in the draft last season. Kmet finished the season with 28 receptions for 243 yards and two touchdowns.

Now, the second-year tight end should see more time as he can do it all and now has a full season under his belt.
