4. Trevis Gipson

Another player that was discussed on the Hoge and Jahns podcast was Trevis Gipson. Reporters noticed Gipson looked much more toned, but also bigger overall due to that muscle entering year two. Gipson is a huge pick considering the Bears traded a future pick for him.

With that in mind, the Bears should see him as an asset they got from the 2021 draft. They need edge help as well, especially after the first year of Robert Quinn in Chicago. Quinn may not be a good fit in the Sean Desai either, and Gipson, who is more versatile in the role could slowly take over for him.

Of course, even an aging Quinn has a lot of upside that Trevis Gipson cannot touch. Still, Gipson needs to prove himself and show that they can take snaps away from Quinn, or even Jeremiah Attachou, and give them to Gipson instead.
