Before the Chicago Bears meet for training camp, general manager Ryan Pace might be able to add a couple more players to the current roster.

Whether it be dipping into the free agent pool one more time or potentially reaching out to another team and engaging in trade talks, the Bears may not be done just yet.

One particular name that popped up this week as a trade candidate is New England Patriots wide receiver, N’Keal Harry. The former first-round pick saw his agent formally request a trade away from the Patriots on Tuesday.

Harry’s agent, Jamal Tooson, allowed the public to know exactly what’s going on behind the scenes with his intentions and is committed to getting his client dealt to a new team.

Could the Chicago Bears be a sneaky landing spot for N’Keal Harry?

While the Bears have a crowded wide receiver room, Harry would certainly give them something they need — a bigger, outside threat. Maybe one could argue Javon Wims is that guy, but we all know how often he’s seen the field.

Harry was a true outside nightmare in college. The Arizona State standout topped over 200 receptions for nearly 3,000 yards over three seasons and was virtually impossible to cover for many corners. His 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame is tough to match up with, but N’Keal Harry has yet to break out as a pro.

Tooson cited the fact that N’Keal Harry has just 86 targets over his professional career, which is a fair point. For a former first-round talent to be hardly used, just as he has been in New England, is pretty rare. Tooson stated he has attempted to put a plan in place to help Harry flourish with the Patriots, but to no avail.

Now, N’Keal Harry appears to be on his way out if the Patriots grant his wish and the Bears may be able to get themselves a new receiver if they pulled off one of these deals.
