The Chicago Bears, like every team in the NFL, are getting ready for 2021 training camp and the preseason. Chicago Bears training camp is when things really start to get real for each team every season. Minicamps and OTAs are great, but players want to put the pads on and really get to work.
Just like most teams, the Chicago Bears have plenty of questions heading into camp. Who will end up winning the QB1 position? As of now, it sounds like there isn’t an open competition, but can Justin Fields outplay Andy Dalton enough to force Matt Nagy’s hand? Who is going to start at left tackle? Who is going to start at center? Who is going to start at right tackle? Which wide receivers will remain on the team? Who will be the starting corners? See, plenty of questions.
Here is what you need to know about Chicago Bears training camp
The Chicago Bears are going to have 14 training camp practices open to the public. These practices are going to be limited to a small number of fans due to COVID-19 restrictions and the move from Bourbonnais to Halas Hall. Rumors are that 1,000 fans will be allowed entry with a free ticket. Tickets will be raffled off and announced on July 19, 2021. You can register for tickets through the Chicago Bears website. Registration is currently open and ends on July 15, 2021. Get on it!
You can register for up to four tickets for each day that is open to fans, however, the Chicago Bears are limiting winners to one day. This will give others equal opportunity to attend, but fans will not be able to attend multiple days of practice unless they attend with others who also win tickets for another day. Good luck with that. Having Chicago Bears training camp at Halas Hall might be better for players, but it definitely ruins the fan experience.

The Chicago Bears will reportedly also host the Miami Dolphins at Halas Hall for a couple of joint practices. Looking at the schedule, these are likely to take place on August 10, 11 and 12 depending on how many take place as these practices are closed to both fans and the media.
The Chicago Bears training camp will come to a close with a private practice on August 26, 2021. By then, we will hopefully have answers to most, if not all of the questions still remaining. The team will have one last test versus the Titans in their final preseason game on August 28, 2021. Remember, teams will have only three preseason games this year as the regular season was expanded to a 17 game schedule.
