Some fans may not remember, but James Daniels was starting to come into his own and was part of the reason the Chicago Bears got off to such a hot start to their season. With Daniels ascending in a new run scheme it looks like the Bears finally had things together. Once he went down, the depth exposed everything.
With Daniel’s back and depth added, there is optimism around the line. Most of it should stem from the former second-round pick having a chance to pick up where he left off. If he can prove healthy and resume from his 2020 play, the Chicago Bears line is going to be better than expected, and Daniels is going to force Chicago to bet on his health with a long-term extension.
Do not be surprised to see Daniels slowly win back the trust of fans as his prime performance just so happens to line up with the contract year.
