1. Allen Robinson
This one may be too obvious but that is why it stands out as the number one. We know that Allen Robinson is in a contract year and we know that big money could await him. 2020 was a bad year to be a free agent because of the pandemic affecting the salary cap.
On top of that, Robinson had a limited offseason with changes on offense and multiple quarterbacks starting. Robinson may have multiple QBs again, but most can agree that Andy Dalton is better than Nick Foles and Justin Fields is better than Mitch Trubisky. Both should be upgrades.
So, Robinson could be hitting the right place at the right time. He is in a contract year on a team with upgraded quarterback play at a time when the cap is going to bounce back. In fact, the NFL added a cap ceiling to make sure it did not rise too high.
Robinson could be a few months away from getting serious money. Everything is lining up for the patient WR to be rewarded.
