The Chicago Bears will be starting up their training camp for the 2021 season very soon. It’s safe to say that this may be the most optimistic fans have been for this team in a long time. Even after the Bears drafted Mitch Trubisky, I think it’s fair to say that the optimism is higher this time around.

Something about this team just feels different right now. Whether it’s the excitement of Justin Fields or hoping that a new play-caller will get this defense back to what it once was, the Bears have a great feeling around the team going into 2021.

Training camp is always a great time because we finally get to see things being put into place. Up to this point, everything is pretty much speculation in terms of what we’re actually going to see on the field.

The Chicago Bears have plenty to be excited about this year

What I specifically wanted to look at is some of the more underrated players heading into camp. We all know that the QB battle is what’s going to dominate the headlines but what about some of the players who aren’t talked about as much.

Even beyond the fight for QB1, a lot of spotlights will be put on Teven Jenkins and guys coming back like Tarik Cohen and Eddie Goldman. The latter of which didn’t play at all last year due to opting out of the season.

With training camp just days away, let’s take a look at some of the more underrated names to keep an eye on, heading into this year’s camp.
