Allen Robinson will be a lock to make the Chicago Bears final roster

Allen Robinson is one of Ryan Pace’s best free agent signings. Since signing a three-year, $42 million dollar deal with the Bears in the spring of 2018, former Jaguars star Allen Robinson has been an absolute baller. Coming off a fully torn ACL in Week 1 of 2017, Robinson hauled in 55 catches for 755 yards and four touchdowns in 13 games. 2018 was a solid comeback year for Allen, but he really came back into his own in 2019.

Fully recovered from his 2017 ACL injury, Robinson was back to his old self. Hauling in 98 catches for 1,147 yards and seven touchdowns, he was the best player on the Chicago Bears offense all season. To follow that up in 2020, Robinson caught 102 balls for 1,250 yards and six touchdowns.

Despite horrible quarterback and offensive line play around him, Robinson has cemented himself as one of the league’s top wide receivers. Although he and Chicago never agreed to terms on the long-term extension, Robinson will play 2021 on the franchise tag. With his NFL future now seemingly in his own hands and a talented young Justin Fields coming into Halas Hall, look for Robinson to continue his high-level production in 2021.
