Last Year: 32
Last year we were bullish on Darnell Mooney by ranking the fifth-round rookie at number 32. However, we could not expect the rise that Mooney had and especially how fast it came. It took about a week before Mooney was clearly the number two wide receiver in this passing attack.
What is most interesting with Mooney is how often he was missed when it appears he was running free into open field deep. With two new quarterbacks, the Bears hope at least one is better and that they can take advantage of Mooney more. The clear-cut second threat in the passing attack cracked the top 10 by his second NFL season.
