Ranking top 10 most valuable Chicago Bears players in 2021
4. Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields
It is tough to put someone who may not even start week one so high, but that is the type of player you are talking about with Justin Fields. It is fair that Matt Nagy wants to slow play Fields, but it is also fair to admit that Andy Dalton signing in free agency is not Alex Smith with years of knowing the Andy Reid playbook. Fields is not going to sit as Patrick Mahomes did.
From there, everything Fields does will not only make or break the team, but it will also keep or end the tenures of Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy. Justin Fields is not just important, he is colossal. He will be higher on the list next year almost no matter what because he will be a surefire starter and even off a bad year, his bounce-back will mean everything to Chicago.
I do not have to explain Fields to you long, but it is rare a rookie jumps into number four on a roster, especially when he may not even start. Still, this says more about the three players upcoming and how great they are than the rookie Fields.
