The top two stay in the same spots that they sat in last season. It is so hard to knock Allen Robinson considering the wide array of quarterbacks that he has had to play with. To be fair, there is a bit of a physical nature that he is lacking that takes him out of being the best wide receiver in the NFL.
Still, there is a very small tier of elite performers above him, and then you have Robinson who is an excellent option to be a number wideout. He is easily rated as one of the ten best in the NFL. Looking to this season there is an argument he will have his best quarterback play yet, and that includes Andy Dalton. Could the Bears star have a bigger year than ever before and demand significant money with an extension.

1. Chicago Bears Edge Khalil Mack

Some Chicago Bears fans have been down on Mack because he is not leading the league in sacks. However, down in and down out this is a player in the backfield. He makes plays against the run, he forces pressures, he gets held, and draws penalties.
Most of all, he opens things up for others. Bilal Nichols had a career year last year, and the interior guys have always eaten when aligned next to Khalil Mack.
Beyond that, the team is paying him and treating him like the best player. The defense goes as he goes, and with a huge year from Mack, Smith, and Eddie Jackson, the Chicago Bears could have a triple threat at all three layers. For now, the roster revolves around these defenders. They will determine this season.
