The Chicago Bears kicked off training camp and we are three days in. With the way the team restricts the media, we do not have much insight on what went down behind closed doors at Halas Hall on Tuesday, but at least some fans helped a bit yesterday and I am sure today. The team was kind enough to share footage of one pass that took place, and that’s about all we got to see or even hear about from the first practice.
With training camp in full swing and the first open practice in the books, hopefully, we will learn more about how certain players are doing. One thing we know for certain is that the team is already dealing with the injury bug.
#Bears injury notes...

Not practicing today:
Eddie Jackson (hamstring) - injured working out recently, Nagy not concerned about it
Teven Jenkins (back tightness)
Germain Ifedi (hip flexor) - happened in conditioning test
Limited:
Robert Quinn (back)
Bilal Nichols (toe)
Three should-be starters (Eddie Jackson, Teven Jenkins and Germain Ifedi) did not practice and two more (Robert Quinn and Bilal Nichols) were limited. The good news is that the team is very early into training camp and we should not panic at this point. In fact, Robert Quinn and Bilal Nichols are back in full swing already and apparently, Quinn is looking great in camp.
Hopefully this is not just "coach speak" or early training camp success. The #Bears need this to translate to the field in 2021.

Also note, Quinn and Mack playing against guys who should essentially be backups this season with Teven Jenkins and Germain Ifedi sidelined. #DaBears https://t.co/BjgUOjGnX4
To help soften the blow of these injury concerns, Andy Dalton delivered a beautiful deep, touch-pass to Darnell Mooney during the first closed practice on Tuesday. Had this play worked in a game, it would have led to an easy six points.

Let’s make some bold Chicago Bears predictions shall we?
Before training camp is too far into things, let’s make some bold predictions about what we might see transpire throughout the camp process. We already saw Jake Butt retire. That would have been a bold prediction if someone made it before it happened. I also would have called them the next Nostradomous because I don’t think anyone without inside knowledge saw it coming. However, there are plenty of other bold predictions we can make.
Keyboard warriors, please remember, these are bold predictions — as in, not likely to happen, but could potentially happen. Think Danny O’Shea beating Kevin O’Shea in the movie “Little Giants”. It wasn’t likely, but it happened anyway.
