Chicago Bears WR, Allen Robinson: Fantasy football history

Allen Robinson finished as a top-10 WR for back-to-back seasons. The amount of wide receivers across the league that finish as close as Allen Robinson has the past two seasons is small in comparison again to the big bucket of wide receivers to choose from. Below are the top finishes for the WR position for Robinson from the time he was drafted in 2014:

  • 2020: WR9
  • 2019:WR8
  • 2016: WR24
  • 2015: WR6

Robinson dealt with some injuries through the years which prevented him from doing well (2018 he played in 13 games after playing in only one game in 2017). That said, Robinson was a top-10 wide receiver in 75 percent of the seasons he was healthy enough to play in a full slate of games.

Specifically, in 2020, Robinson scored 16.4 PPG (points per game) with seven games scoring 19 or more fantasy points. Across weeks three through five, Robinson was the best WR for fantasy football. Robinson saw four single-week finishes within the top-eight for the position in 2020:

  • Week 3 (28.3 points) – WR4
  • Week 4 (23.1 points) –  WR8
  • Week 12 (27.4 points) – WR5
  • Week 14 (27.3 points) – WR2

Allen Robinson is often credited for his WR performances despite the lack of quality quarterback play he has seen throughout his career.
