Chicago Bears, WR Allen Robinson: Fantasy expectations for 2021

ADP or average draft position is a metric used when averaging a large number of drafts and outlining where particular players are being drafted both overall and for the position. There are other various rankings that plenty of sites release and change often. Below are some links from accredited fantasy sources of either where they see Allen Robinson being drafted or where they see him ranking for 2021:

The above data shows Robinson somewhere between WR8 and WR12. Seeing that he finished as the WR9 in 2020, and is lined up to have better quarterback play and similar volume, it would be hard to argue against someone saying he should improve from what he has done in 2020. On the contrary, it was discussed at the beginning of the article how competitive and deep the WR position is for fantasy football.

I would be comfortable slotting Allen Robinson as my WR10 for fantasy in 2021. Personally, I believe Robinson’s best games will come with his connection to rookie Justin Fields over Andy Dalton, but history has also told us that QBs do not necessarily hold him back.

Should Bears fans be worried about the OL?. dark. Next

If you are drafting, I would be comfortable drafting Robinson in this top 12 tier of WR’s (they call this the WR1 category) with hopes that his ceiling can be elevated once with Justin Fields, especially if that TD category hits better than last year. Regardless, this is one of fantasy football’s most exciting WR’s for the coming year that is set for guaranteed volume and team importance.
