2. Roquan Smith

This is another obvious one. However, everything we are hearing out camp is that this year is going to be something else out of Roquan Smith. Last season it is fair to say that Smith burst onto the scene after struggling to find his footing.

However, this season you are hearing that Smith is more vocal and becoming a leader in the locker room and a leader of the defense. He is calling the plays and getting his men lined up. He is becoming the complete package.

Smith has shown well through preseason but we may really see him shine against Tua Tagovailoa who is learning and developing himself. Smith may show that he has the upper hand, and may get small revenge for the Georgia Bulldog loss to Tua in the National Championship.
