The Chicago Bears are not even close to the Vikings in this one

Minnesota Vikings: 5th overall, 1st in NFC North

Now, at first glance, the Vikings being rated No. 1 in the NFC North in most categories would turn a lot of heads. However, when you look at it with 20/20 vision, it’s pretty clear based heavily on their WR1 and WR2.

Even after losing one of the league’s best in Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills, the Minnesota Vikings found themselves on the favorable verge of the top five.

Minnesota Vikings wide receivers

  • Justin Jefferson (90.4 2020 PFF Grade)
  • Adam Thielen (87.4 2020 PFF Grade)
  • Dede Westbrook (63.5 2019* PFF Grade) *Out for majority of 2020 season
  • Chad Beebe (57.2 2020 PFF Grade)

Unfortunately for this team and those who follow, the clear strength at wide receiver only resulted in a 7-9 record for the 2020 season.

With some fixes in key areas, the Vikings have a lot more to provide than what meets the eye. There are some varying inconsistencies throughout the team, however, it’s obvious that wide receiver is not one of them.

Even tight end is a strong position for the Vikings, as Irv Smith Jr. seems to be filling Kyle Rudolph’s shoes easily in Skol country. In the 2020 season, Smith Jr. received a 70.0-flat PFF grade, and across the league, that’s no grade to look down upon.

So, with the NFC North ranked and discussed, here is the NFL ranked as a whole– all thanks to NFL SpinZone.
