4. No Eddie Goldman, Tarik Cohen, or Germain Ifedi

This should be no surprise either, but it has to be noted. Goldman is on the COVID-19 list, while Cohen and Ifedi are on the PUP. They may be ready for week one, but this is the unofficial depth chart for the first preseason game. With that in mind, none of these players will be active or would be active if the season started today.

Beyond that, neither has stepped foot on a practice field. Considering they technically aren’t even on an active roster right now, they would not be listed on the depth chart.

This is worth noting as rookie Khyris Tonga is ahead of Mike Pennel as the starting nose tackle. This is good for the rookie who is already ahead of the veteran. Beyond that, right tackle and running back could look different very soon.
