Chicago Bears Preseason: 3 things Justin Fields must do vs. the Dolphins
Today is now Justin Fields day. Alright, maybe that is going too far, but for us Chicago Bears fans, today is hopefully going to be a great day. I do not care what the outcome of the game will be. The overall score means literally nothing in the end. All I want to see is the future franchise quarterback of the Chicago Bears look like he could be here for at least the next 15 years.
Think about that for a minute. Could you imagine if this team finally found a quarterback who will not only propel the offense and team into the current century instead of constantly thinking a top defense and strong running game is most important, but will also be here for over a decade? This is what other teams have experienced, while the Bears have gone through a constant quarterback carousel.
We need to look for Justin Fields to do a few things vs. the Dolphins today
The closest this team has seen to a franchise quarterback is Jay Cutler. Let that sink in. Cutler lasted eight years with the Chicago Bears. In comparison, Jim McMahon played seven seasons. Over those seven seasons, he played in 66 games. Cutler on the other hand played in 102 games for the Bears. Then you have Aaron Rodgers playing 197 games for the Packers. Could Justin Fields finally be that for the Chicago Bears?
As the Bears get ready to play the Miami Dolphins today, there are a few things that we should keep an eye on when it comes to Justin Fields.
